Hey blog. It's been awhile. The last couple of months have been intense. I've got a lot to say and not a lot of time to say it. First though, thank you, blog, for being so patient. At least you don't guilt me about how I never write the few times that I actually make time to do so. You know, blog, you're alright. I'm sorry for neglecting you the way I've done for the past couple of months. I have been busy, but that is no excuse. I dropped the ball... I fucked up... and yet, you are still here, patiently waiting for me come sign in and write something that is most likely going to be borderline sophomoric, poorly thought out and riddled with gromattical errers.
Let's start with post Kate Wolf. We were riding high after that weekend and our mosquito bites hadn't even subsided before we were hit with our next big adventure. We got word from our friends at San Franpsycho that the America's Cup wanted us to play on the big stage that Saturday afternoon. MInd you, this is the same stage that Sting played on recently and Weezer played not long after us. We were a little blown away and had no idea what to expect. But, in perfect The Sam Chase fashion, we flew in blindly grabbing for any sturdy semblance of sanity before our egos sent us tumbling wildly into the vast and vapid void. In other words, it was a blast.

AND AMERICA'S CUP PUT US IN THEIR PROMO VIDEO FOR DOCKERS (weird, right?!)
Now if that wasn't enough show for one day, right after we left the stage we "booked" it over to Green Apple Books for an intimate acoustic show supporting our new album being sold there. It was the perfect juxtoposition. We went from the largest stage we have ever played, to the smallest. It was a great day.
July also brought us a super fun photo shoot as well with Mr. Harland Spinks.
We also played to a sold out crowd at Bottom OF The Hill...
Played a super fun outdoor wedding up in Portland....
Got interviewed for a video displaying SF's music scene for CONVERSE... (GO TO MINUTE 5:40)

Oh yeah, then I went to Vietnam and Burning Man and played shows in both places.... But that is a blog for another time....
So long for now!!!
... we also just played a sold out show at the Milk Bar benefitting the American Cancer Society.
Ok, I'm done.
